Synopsis

RAGE QUIT Supergirl engages Lobo, pummelling him and smashing him through the walls of The Block. For his part, Lobo does everything he can to press Kara's buttons and drive her so mad that she cannot fight effectively. Ceaselessly taunted and egged on by Lobo, Kara is so furious she cannot think straight.   Their battle is so destructive that Shay has to teleport them out of The Block. Once outside, Lobo gets in his ship and takes off for New York, Kara hot on his heels. Lobo changes his tune, stating that Veritas thinks of Supergirl as a ticking bomb and offers the young Kryptonian a partnership. Kara and Lobo land on Queens, and Lobo insists that Supergirl shouldn't waste her talent and her potential working for Veritas.   Nevertheless, Supergirl identifies Lobo's attempt to manipulate her for what it is, and she's now feeling betrayed by Shay after trusting her. She feels like everybody she meets hurts her, lets her down, uses her or manipulates her "for her own good". And she is utterly sick of it.   Kara completely flies off the handle and puts a brutal beatdown onto Lobo. Supergirl is so overwhelmingly angry that her long-repressed, unleashed fury acts like a magnet to one of the latest Red Power Rings created by Atrocitus.   Kara is transfixed by the Ring floating in front of her. She had come to think she didn't belong anywhere, but the Ring states she belongs to the Corps.   Meanwhile, Siobhan is looking for Kara after seeing her and Lobo brawling out of her window, and she meets her right after her transformation into a snarling, barely coherent Red Lantern.
